Where in the world is Papua New Guinea?

The image to the right shows where Papua New Guinea is located, as well as an inset map and a picture of where we will be living, which is called Ukarumpa.

Papua New Guinea (or PNG) is the eastern half of the island of New Guinea, which is the second largest island in the world. PNG is the home to over 6.5 million people and though it may appear small on the world map, it is slightly larger than the state of California. There are over 800 languages in PNG, more than 300 of which have no scripture at all!

What are we going to be doing there? Find out by clicking here.
